Dear reader, I would like to thank you for your interest in this article.
If you have ended up here, chances are that you might be a future student who spread his wings and decided to study abroad.
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!
You have gone so far already! Think about the amazing experiences awaiting you. The list of unique possibilities is endless... Do not, however, immerse into this university craze light-headed otherwise you will sink deeper than you anticipated.
Stop the fast running stream of your thoughts and take a pause. Realise that your ability to be independent, as well as your self-awareness, will be tested rather soon.
This is the very moment when you should start planning things in advance if you haven't done that earlier of course. Don't worry, as any other skill, sense of organisation doesn't just pop up in your head when you are in need of it. Every skill requires practice moreover time to learn how to use it.
In modern time finding anything on the internet through a browser is a piece of cake. Yet, after a month of searching for a perfect list, I still wasn't satisfied hence empty-handed.
Before I let the panic overwhelm my head I have decided to make my own packing list.
A list that would contain the essentials for the survival of a university student. I don't have the slightest doubt that any of you would be still standing alone aboard different boat now.
The most important aim of this packing list is to instruct those of you who have never lived alone and aren't sure of what is necessary and what is nothing more than a useless piece of junk.
If you are like me you probably won't fit everything into your luggage but don't worry there are several other options for how to send your things over to your new temporary home. If you live in Europe there's a company called Tea House transport that has discounts for students and delivers boxes up to 30 kg for less than 34 pounds. ( click here )
Hope you find it helpful :)
Lots of luck to all of you who are undertaking this challenging life step.
