Rey's blaster replica

As a big and critical fan of Star Wars saga I enjoy watching how the prop department always comes up with new or redesigned weapons or costumes. I wanted to explore new area of prop making by using a 3d printing device.

Rey's blaster seemed as a good prop to test my sanding, spray -painting + weathering skills so that the final outcome looked as close to the screen used version as possible.

I am overall satisfied with how it ended up considering that this is my first attempt to work with a 3D modelled skeleton. The blaster could be more weathered to speak the truth but my blaster has not experienced the turmoil of battle yet.
